At the core, I’m just a simple guy who has been saved by the grace of Jesus Christ.  And the music that tells of that grace– what we call gospel music– has always been dear to me.  Don’t get me wrong, I listen to nearly every type of music and I can appreciate it all.  But my passion and heart is toward gospel music.  So, I’m a gospel music lover.

But I don’t just love the music… I love the entire industry.  I love the business behind the music.  The liner notes– the producers, the background vocalists, the publishing companies and the performing rights organizations with which they’re affiliated, the “thank yous” at the end.  I love the stories and the trivia of gospel music… you know, the stuff so random that nobody generally discusses it, either cuz they don’t know or they don’t care.  THAT’S what I love.

And it’s more than just a hobby.  I have interned at record labels, and I’ve worked with and for major and independent gospel artists.  I have a Music Business degree from NYU and a law degree from St. John’s University.

Finally, but by no means least, I’m married to the most phenomenal woman in the world, God’s second-greatest gift to me (after salvation).  We live in the Nashville area, but you never know where you’ll see us.
