GospelPundit.com is all about the music.
The melodies, the lyrics, the message… they are what drew us here.
GospelPundit.com is a gospel music website that offers new music, videos, album reviews, news, interviews, articles, giveaways and more. When it launched in November of 2008, GospelPundit.com made its mark as one of the first gospel music blogs, offering frequent updates on all things “gospel.” The site became one of the most visited in gospel music, serving as the premiere web destination for new, accurate and uplifting information in the gospel music community.
Now, over 5 years later, GospelPundit.com continues to be one of the most trusted resources in the industry. Additionally, GospelPundit.com has formed significant relationships with major companies and organizations, including McDonald’s, the Game Show Network, WEtv and BET. Most recently, Editor EJ Gaines was named the Official Gospel Blogger for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
About the Editor…
GospelPundit.com is operated by EJ Gaines, an entertainment attorney and artist manager, whose passion for gospel music stems from its role in his life.
“I learned about who Jesus is, first, from the gospel music I heard as a kid,” says Gaines. “I learned scriptures when I thought they were just cool lyrics. I experienced God’s work in my heart when I thought I was just touched by a chord progression. I met Christ through gospel music.”
Over the course of more than a decade, EJ Gaines has acquired a wealth of experience in the music industry. He started as an intern at Jive Records and Verity Records (now RCA Inspiration), before becoming an executive assistant to popular gospel artist Donnie McClurkin. As an artist manager, he has helped to guide the careers of several GRAMMY Award-winning and chart-topping artists, including Mary Mary, Donald Lawrence, Isaac Carree, Natalie Grant and more.
EJ Gaines practices law with Waterford Law Group, PLLC in Franklin, TN. He is married to Motown Gospel recording artist Janice Gaines. With GospelPundit.com, he hopes to do his part in broadening the reach of gospel music.
