   You just have to hear it to be reminded that GOSPEL is about more than just notes and runs.., and Karen is the BEST at doing everything, in the right measure for the right reasons. This is an anointed performance, that transcends the production. LOVE IT !!!

    Karen sounds great as usual and J. Moss “wall of sound” is in full force. The arrangement sounds like it was influenced by Jill Scott’s song, “It’s Love” Do you want it on your collard greens? Do you want it in your candy sweets? I’m sorry, but when I heard it that’s what came to mind….LOL!

    I said it on facebook and I’ll repeat it here…This solidifies Karen Clark-Sheard in this time. She is suppose to be here, God has ordained her steps for such as time. She sang it prophetically on Donald Lawrence and Tri-City’s Finale song “ITS YOUR TIME”.

    I looove this track! I love the message, she always has a good one, and it does feel kinda Jill Scottish in the beginning, lol like one of the posts said. I love it as a single! She hit it dead on. I believe one thing about Karen is she stays current, but she is also true to her own sound. I think she does well with that. I really do! Like I don’t think this is like a Kierra track or even a Dorinda track, its hers for real. J. Drew and whoever else had a hand in it did right just for her! Look @ God!

    I think this song is strong. Whether it connects with Jill Scott’s or not, Karen keeps it centered on God with blatant references to a believer. I feel that it is radio-friendly, encouraging and accessible to all.
